AQUATIC MANAGEMENT & RESTORATION

Emphasis should always be on obtaining the cleanest and most reliable source of water available. A questionable source will require multiple purification methods, whereas a cleaner source will require less purification. Typically, water for domestic use constitutes approximately 10% of total water usage and is purified as needed. Agricultural water use, which is approximately 90% of total water usage, is not usually purified. With the results of both biological and mineral water testing, a water purification system can be designed to suit your needs.

WATER SOURCES & CONTAMINATION EXAMPLES
        Springs (Bacterial)
        Wells (Iron, Manganese, Hydrogen Sulfide)
Wells (High Dissolved Solids, Heavy Metals, Turbidity)
        Ponds (Bacterial, Viruses, Cysts, Turbidity)
        Municipal (Taste)

COMMONLY UTILIZED PURIFICATION SYSTEMS
Bacterial: Slow Sand Filtration or UV
        Wells: Ozone
        Wells: Reverse Osmosis
        Ponds: Slow Sand and UV
        Municipal: Activated Carbon Absorption Filter

With the completion of a water source evaluation and test results, the type of purification system necessary can be selected and installed which is both effective and user friendly.
